Taken in the Patriarch grove in the White Mountains. These are bristlecone pine trees, the oldest single living organisms known. Some of these trees are older than 4000 years, and still going, even when they look already dead.
This is around 40 minutes exposure, during which I was just laying down, and contemplating the stars. Amazing feeling being there. I hope you like it. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
