Taken on my weekend photography trip with a couple of photographer friends. The weather was not the one we were hoping, but we still woke up really early and got to this location we had scouted the previous day. I will definitely want to go back with different weather.

Nikon D300 ISO400 1/5secs @ f/13
PS: Updated Image: White Balance to make it warmer, and a bit play of contrast.
I like the color on the rocks and agree with flame2fire on the shutter speed, I think it came out very nice, while skies are not what you may hope for there are some interesting clouds up there.

Was starting to wonder if you'd left us! Always glad to see new posts by you!
Very nice! I wonder what it would have looked like if it had been shifted down and right just slightly, though... place the focal point of the image more on the... "mini-falls" (for lack of a better term) than the rocks in the background...
Conversely a wider angle, maybe, but I'm not sure about that...
Anyhow, still beautiful as always...

I agree. I was going for a wider angle too, but minutes before this image, I had crashed my camera with the 12-24mm lens which is now gone. The camera was not harmed, so I changed lens to the 17-50mm and kept shooting. Now, I'm in need of a wide angle lens again. Thanks for the comments.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
