Foggy Morning by enunez Foggy Morning by enunez
This image was taken over a month ago, it is 2 minutes from my house. I've been waiting for the fog to come as I had in mind this tree, which I was wondering how it will look like under the right conditions. The fog has only happened for a couple of times lately, but I could not materialize this image. This time when I woke up, I realized the fog could work, but I only had 5 to 10 minutes to go there, shoot it and be back for breakfast and take my daughter to her class.
I was rewarded by a nice hawk perching in the tree making it a little more interesting.

Hope you like it!

Amazing shot! (Though I don't think the tree can decide exactly which type of tree it wants to be!)

Gorgeous image, I don't think it could have been better even if you plotted the trees and the bird down where you wished.

Amazing foggy shot. Love the tree and how unique it is from the other trees in the background. :)

I've been staring at this photograph for quite a while now and I must say it's stunning!

I really like the almost monochrome look to it and the hawk is a nice little detail!

I'd love to hang a big print of this on my apartment's wall! :D

Thought immediately of 'The Raven' by Poe, when I saw that.

Stunning image, I'd have probbaly composed it off the the side, but I think that would have created a weaker shot.
How are you finding the D700 by the way? I'm thinking of getting one :)

Thanks for the comment. The D700 is out of this world, great image quality and amazing high ISO performance! you won't regret it!
